Inventory Management:
Receive incoming liquor shipments and verify their accuracy against purchase orders.
Inspect and record any damages or discrepancies in received goods.
Organize and store liquor products in designated locations within the warehouse.
Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical and system inventory.
Order Fulfilment:
Pick and pack products accurately and efficiently.
Ensure orders are properly labeled, packaged, and loaded onto delivery vehicles.
Warehouse Organization and Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Arrange products in a logical and efficient manner to optimize space utilization.
Implement proper storage techniques to prevent damage or spoilage of liquor inventory.
Comply with health and safety regulations and enforce warehouse safety protocols.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and withdrawals.
Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and any relevant warehouse metrics.
Provide regular updates to management regarding inventory status, issues, and potential improvements.
Collaboration and Communication:
Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and custom, to ensure accurate inventory planning and replenishment.
Collaborate with logistics teams to facilitate efficient inbound and outbound logistics processes.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding work progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications/Knowledge, Necessary Skill, Experience, and abilities requirement
High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require a bachelor s degree in a related field).
Knowledge of Inventory Management, Logistics Management and Warehouse Operations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Graduate/Post Graduate or equivalent required.
Proven experience as a warehouse keeper, preferably in the liquor or beverage industry.
Strong knowledge of liquor products, including types, brands, and storage requirements.
Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to [weight limit]).
Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and ability to enforce compliance.
