Jobs and Responsibilities of Purchase Head :
- Handling Vendor Issues, problems and resolving them
- Follow up with vendors for material, ensuring on time delivery for no production delays
- New and Alternate Vendor Development
- Taking Quotations from Vendors and Negotiating with them
- Making Rates comparisons of negotiated terms and presenting it to MD for getting approval
- Cost analysis and Cost reduction of material
- Existing Vendors Management
- Handling purchase team for effective purchase operations and coordinating with Stores team
- Inter and intra department Meeting on daily basis
- Monitoring & ensuring purchases on a daily basis
- Getting Vendor audit done for new vendor approval from Quality Assurance Team
- Proper filing and documentation
Who can FIT in to this role:
- Married female candidate – 6-10 years experience in purchase, who is eager to LEARN and make a significant contribution towards this role
- Graduated in business administration or in any related field
- Having Knowledge of ERP, Microsoft Word & Excel
- Good communication (verbal & written), interpersonal and leadership skills
- Problem solver with Ownership mindset and Can do belief
- Outstanding negotiation skills
- Strong decision making
- Team player and coordination with team members
